Used in conjunction with our black junction boxes, armoured cable is ideal for getting power safely and discretely around the garden. For most applications, 3-core cable is sufficient, but we also offer 4-, 5- and 7-core cables for switching multiple circuits and for sharing mains power. Longer lengths are available, please ask for details.

This cable is ideal for extending low-voltage garden lighting. Made from black rubber, it is unobtrusive and lies flat on the ground. To reduce voltage drop, we recommend using 2.5mm cable on longer runs. 3-core cable is ideal for mains voltage uses, such as extending a pond pump cable. However, it should be protected within conduit where it is exposed or liable to be damaged.

Cable cleats should always be used to provide strain relief when connecting armoured cable into junction boxes. When used with stainless steel screws, they are a neat and professional method of fixing cables to a variety of surfaces.
