Alternatively connect a skimmer to take water from the top of the pond on one inlet and from the bottom of the pond on the other.

With massive flow rates and low running costs, the Oase Promax filter pump is ideal for the largest watercourse or filtration system. Based around the hugely successful Aquamax range, the Promax offers a unique feature - twin pump motors. These can be turned up and down or switched on or off, independent of each other, using the remote control that is supplied with each pump. This means the flow rate can be precisely adjusted at the touch of a button and watercourses can be turned down to a trickle at night, saving power and money.

This new range of powerful filter and watercourse pumps has been developed specifically for dry installation (outside the pond and below the water level), and are ideal for shallow and more formal ponds where a conventional pump would otherwise be visible. Designed with a large stable base, they are extremely quiet in operation and can cope with particles up to 8mm in size.

The unique design of the Force Hybrid provides two switchable options, adjusting the intake of the pump to either ‘sludge removal’ or ‘multipurpose’. The multipurpose mode draws water through the whole of the cage, offering low intake speeds over a high surface area, which is ideal for watercourses and waterfalls. By switching to sludge removal mode, the intake of the pump is directed towards the floor of the pond, and will suck up solids of up to 8mm, making it ideal for filter systems.
